Childhood adversity leads to lifelong relationship, health disadvantage for black men

Health disparities as a result of racial factors is a prevalent problem. A recent study shows that African Americans are more likely to be exposed to childhood adversity compared to Caucasians. This study explored the effect of childhood adversity on lifelong relationships and found that African Americans struggled with lifelong relationships as a result of childhood adversity. The struggle between lifelong relationships and childhood adversity has shown to decrease how healthy a black male is compared to a white male. Black males are found to be less healthier than white males.
