Low-fat diet, omega-3 linked to reduced prostate cancer aggression

Prostate cancer is one of the most commonly diagnosed cancers for North American men. Researchers from the University of California-Los Angeles (UCLA)changed the diets of men who had prostate cancer and then observed .The study found out that men who took fish oil supplements and had a low-fat diet showed changes in their cancer tissue. This change may indicate reduced cancer aggression. In this study, the men who had a low-fat diet had slower growth of cancer cells compared to the men who had a high-fat diet.
