Researchers at Harvard School of Public Health have discovered that vasectomy is associated with an increased risk of prostate cancer. Even more surprisingly, the researchers found that vasectomy creates an even larger risk for lethal prostate cancer. The study found that out of 811 individuals that died from prostate cancer, one in four patients had undergone a vasectomy. Some concerns have been raised regarding this study, claiming that the results were bias, but researchers have denied this claim stating that they took diverse information into account.
