Gender disparity in health care under investigation

The current healthcare system has not yet adjusted to the different characteristics of males and females. This can lead to incorrect diagnoses.  On average women live about 3.6 years longer, but the healthy life expectancy is one year shorter than men. Data also shows that hospitalization for women is ten percent higher than the percentage for males. It is even said that women are more prone to medicinal side effects because their hormonal levels fluctuate too much. All in all, women pay a lot more for healthcare than men do and the system needs to change to end this disparity.
